Everybody knows that pedoclimatic conditions, i.e. environment-climate-soil, have a very strong impact on the distinguishing personality of a wine. This concept applies to this red wine obtained from a grapes blend of Syrah, Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot enriched by the sapid and smooth features of the loose and permeable morainic soil.

Vines: Syrah (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Merlot (20%)
Training system and yield: Gujot- 80q/ha
Vinification: Controlled-temperature fermentation in stainless steel vats.
Ageing: Syrah: 12 month ageing in barriques (225 lt, Allier); Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot: stainless steel vats; than together bottle ageing.
Colour: Ruby red.
Bouquet: Intense, subtly herbaceous.
Flavour: Dry, full-bodied, well-structured slightly sapid which is typical of morainic soils.
Alcohol level: 13% vol.
Food matches: Hams and salami, first and second courses, mixed boiled meats, grilled meat.
Serve at 18°C.
